From Proving Myself
to Building a Life Beyond Myself
My journey has taken me from science to business, from entrepreneurship to health education,
and ultimately toward a larger question:
How can one life create meaningful impact for many others?
SELF-PROVING
Building Success
I began my career as a chemist before moving to China as a product development consultant. I later spent six years as CEO leading a US$89 million factory project, from development and setup to operations, while completing my MBA.
I then built and operated my own business in the mobile phone and IT industry for eight years.
At 44, I achieved financial freedom and retired from business.
But that achievement opened a new question:
“What do I want the rest of my life to mean?”
SELF-ACTUALISATION
Transforming Myself
A personal challenge with my eyesight and AMD changed the direction of my life and deepened my interest in health science.
What began as a personal search eventually became more than a decade of health education — 300+ talks and workshops, a PhD in Health Sciences, and 50,000+ people impacted.
But I gradually realised that knowledge alone does not necessarily transform a life.
This led me into Neuroscience Coaching and a deeper understanding of wellbeing — body, mind and life as a whole.
BEYOND SELF
Multiplying Impact
Now, entering the next chapter of my life, my question has changed again.
It is no longer: “What can I achieve?”
It is: “What can I build that continues helping others beyond me?”
My next journey is about bringing together Science, AI, Leadership and human connection to build an ecosystem capable of empowering people, developing leaders with the long-term vision of impacting 1 million families.
Not simply by teaching more people myself — but by building people, systems and communities that multiply impact.
